Aster Launches Thrive by myAster, the UAE’s First DHA-Certified 100+ Biomarker Test
More than 100 biomarkers, a clear read on your biological age and a personal plan to act on it – all now in your phone, with Thrive by myAster.
Aster DM Healthcare, one of the region’s leading integrated healthcare providers, has launched Thrive by myAster – the UAE’s first DHA-certified health assessment analysing more than 100 biomarkers. The test was unveiled on International Longevity Day, at “Bridging the Longevity Gap” expert-led event at Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz powered by Wellth Clinic and Thrive by myAster.
The event focused on a single question: how people can move from greater awareness of their health to meaningful, personalised action. It also reflected the group’s evolving approach to care, which now extends beyond treating illness to prevention, health awareness and informed choices at every stage of life.
What Thrive by myAster offers
Thrive by myAster is a biomarker-based health assessment that analyses more than 100 biomarkers across 12 body systems, giving individuals a deeper and clearer picture of their health. The panel covers blood, heart and vascular health; diabetes and metabolic health; female and male hormones; inflammation; iron and energy; lipids; liver and kidney function; thyroid; vitamins; and urine analysis. Each report also includes biological age insights – an indication of how old the body appears internally compared with chronological age.
The test is booked through the myAster app, and a nurse collects the sample at home in a session of around 30 minutes. Results arrive in the app within a few days, where doctors explain them and translate the findings into a personalised plan of practical next steps.
A one-time Thrive test costs AED 699, including VAT. A six-month subscription, priced at AED 599, includes a repeat test every six months – a format suited to tracking how markers change over time.

The unveiling was accompanied by an experiential programme spanning movement, mobility, hydration, sleep, recovery, skin health and wellbeing. Guests could try a VO₂ max assessment, mobility and strength activities, recovery sessions and skin analysis, as well as Wellth’s holistic longevity therapies and products and experiences from Aster Pharmacy, Aster Opticals, Humantra and Fade Fit.
Decoding longevity
The programme opened with a conversation between Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, and Shereen Mitwalli, global presenter and TED speaker. The discussion explored how longevity is shifting from simply extending lifespan towards helping people stay healthy, active and independent for longer.

“Longevity is not simply about adding more years to life; it is about making those years healthier, more active and more meaningful,” said Alisha Moopen. “As healthcare evolves, we have an opportunity to help people understand their health earlier, make more informed choices and take a more proactive approach to their wellbeing. We stand aligned with Dubai’s ambition to shape the future of health and become a global centre for healthy longevity.”
The second panel, “Bridging the Longevity Gap”, brought together Dr Karima Arroud, Consultant in Functional Medicine and Medical Director at Wellth; Dr Elie Abirached of Restore Fitness, who specialises in recovery and biohacking; Professor Roberto Grobman, founder of Robgenes; and Dr Lamees Hamdan, founder of Cosmic Doctor and Shiffa Beauty. The speakers examined the distance between the growing volume of health information available to individuals and their ability to understand and act on it, covering personalised health, prevention, nutrition, movement, recovery, sleep, genetics and the responsible use of health data.
Aligned with Dubai’s longevity agenda
The launch comes as Dubai sharpens its focus on healthy longevity. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently approved the strategy of the Dubai Longevity Authority, setting out an agenda for longevity, wellness and advanced health. The strategy targets around 31 per cent annual growth and aims to contribute more than AED 35 billion to Dubai’s economy over the next decade, while advancing research, clinical trials, innovation and responsible regulation across the sector.
For Aster, Thrive by myAster is part of a wider commitment to preventive and personalised care through its integrated healthcare ecosystem – helping people understand their health earlier, act on relevant insights and make sustainable choices for healthier years ahead.
